Seminar on sustainable development on Sept 28-29

Kohima, September 21 (MExN): Under the aegis of the Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) a two-day seminar on “Sustainable Development” is scheduled to be held at the Christian Mission Higher Secondary School, Phek town on September 28 and 29.  

CPO, General Secretary, Mutsivoyi Kotso in a press note informed that the resource persons include Husazu Epao, Principal, Patkai Christian College, Dimapur, Vengota Nakro, Project Support Specialist, FOCUS, Nagaland Project, Senowekha Kenye, retired Director, Geology & Mining and Velatso Demo, Divisional Forest Officer, Phek. It also stated that CPO multi-purpose building, Phek will be laid down by Neiba Kronu, Minister, Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue, Government of Nagaland on day one, prior to the commencement of the first session of the seminar at 10:00 am.  

During the seminar, Neiba Kronu, Minister, Planning & Coordination, Land Revenue, Government of Nagaland; Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA 19th Phek A/C; Chotisuh Sazo, MLA 18th Chozuba A/C; Kezhienyi Khalo, MLA 17th Chizami A/C will exhort the gathering in four different sessions.  

The CPO has conveyed its invitations to all the Chakhesang present and former legislators, frontal organizations, former CPO officials, CPO affiliated unit Presidents and colleagues. The VCCs and colleagues, VDB secretaries and its members, GBs, pastors of Chakhesang inhabited villages are compulsorily asked to attend the program with not less than 5 members from each village. Meanwhile, CPO executive council meeting will be held on September 28 at the CMHSS, Phek by 6.00 pm. All concerned members are asked to attend the meeting.
