Dimapur, July 1 (MExN): The Nagaland University Teachers’ Association of Kohima (NUTAK) issued a copy of letter to the Vice Chancellor of Nagaland University leveling serious allegations against by the Dean in-charge of Kohima campus. The lists of allegations include fake doctorates, molestation, and ‘concealed’ appointment applications, unqualified appointment as ‘professor’ and manipulation of results, intellectual property right theft, among others. The NUTAK letter, addressed to the VC, himself under the scanner for corruption and other charges, listed out a string of irregularities allegedly committed “repeatedly” over the years by Dr. NDR Chandra, Dean and Campus In-charge of Kohima Campus, Meriema. The NUTAK requests the VC to take cognizance of these “unethical and illegal practices” and demand that appropriate disciplinary action against Dr. NDR Chandra and that he be removed from the ‘sensitive posts’ of Dean and Campus In-charge with immediate effect.
