Dimapur, March 23 (MExN): In order to facilitate issuance of Tax Clearance Certificate to the taxpayers, the Taxes department has decided to provide services through an alternate channel without physical interface.
The taxpayers can approach the department by adhering to the following directions:
• Scanned copies of filled applications in Annexure 'A along with the Invoice/Invoices should be mailed to cotgon@rediffmail.com or WhatsApp the images to 7005080401.
• On receipt of the application, the department will examine the application and the accuracy of the returns filing, issue the Tax Clearance Certificate to the eligible applicants through email or WhatsApp from which the application was initially received.
• Any queries pertaining to filing of returns may be contacted to Help Desk Number 7005080401.
“This order shall be effective immediately till further order,” stated a press release issued by Kesonyu Yhome, IAS Commissioner of State Taxes, Nagaland.
