Dimapur, August 28 (MExN): An angry Students’ Council of School of Engineering, Technology & Management (SETAM) today issued a notice to the vice chancellor of Nagaland University and “all the university officials” to Lumami from August 30. If they fail to do so, the students’ council stated, it would not be the students who would be responsible for any consequences. “As per the deadline served to the university by the students of SETAM is over i.e. 28th Aug’11 and the students hereby no longer tolerate the irresponsibility and unconcern nature of the university authority. In spite of numerous reminders and a month long agitation the students found no solution to their demands,” the students’ council said in a note today. “As the only option and the last step, the students will stage a protest in the university Headquarter starting from 30th of Aug’11. Therefore the SESC summon VC and all the university officials to the Headquarter on the mentioned date. And thereafter, if the university fails to respond, the students will take its own course of action and university will be held responsible for any unwanted outcome,” the note stated.
