Shamator kick-boxers make Nagaland proud

Dimapur, May 11 (MExN): Kick-boxers from Shamator excelled at the recently held North East Invitational Karate Championship 2011 at Lanka, Assam. A press note issued by Rev. Fr. Francis Yimso Cheerangal, Shamator, stated that the Shamator Team consisted of Longkhangba, Tsüshito, Limsba and T. Akhüm led by Martica, Toshi Akhang and Tsuyihba, all members of the Shamator Kick Boxing Association. Limsba was the stand out performer winning a silver medal, while others bagged bronze. Competitors from Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, West Bengal, Bihar and Nepal took part in the championship.  
At a Dedication service held at Shamator, the association acknowledged the contribution of Amit and Mamu from Assam, D. Deb, Inavi and Kius Chuba in training, facilitating and helping win in the tournament, the note stated. The team said that it confidently looks forward to greater performances in Kolkata and later in Nepal.
