A Short Biography about late Rev. Inaho G. Swu & his clan

His grand father Lt. Ghusuna Swu was born in 1843 and he convert himself into Christian in 1896 at Chezuba Church. In 1904 he was baptise from Rev. Rivenburg, he look after 19 Children who were homeless and as they grown up, he passed away in 20th May 1949, his son Kiyevi Swu was born in 1900 and in 1912 he study in Kohima Mission School and in 1919 he passed Class VI and in 1920 he served as a Pastor in Lazami Village, and also served as Evangelist in Sumi Area, he was poisoned by one unknown mother and was admitted in Phek hospital in18th May 1940 and passed away. Rev. Inaho .G. Swu was born in 26th August 1936. In 1949 he studied in Ighanumi Govt. Primary School and in 1954 he passed class X an in 1968 he went to Bangalore to study a Theology. From 1972 to 1980 he served as Headmaster in Pughoboto Bible School for 9 years. On 21st Jan 1977 he married to Miss. Kanili Wotsa Village of Kitami. From 1980 to 2001, he was the Director of U.R.F Zunheboto, from 2002 to 2011 he served as a Pastor in WSBAK Church at Dimapur. On 20th Feb 2011 he passed away, but we give thanks to Almighty God because his son Mr. James Swu who studied M. Th and now serving as Youth secretary in SABAK Association. May our Almighty God grand him long life as he served Him.
From 1972 – 1980 Lt. Rev. Inaho G. Swu served in SABAK, from 1980 – 2001 he work in U.R. F and from 2002 – till 20th Feb 2011, till his last breath he worked at WSBAK as Pastor Dimapur Sumi Baptist Church.
On 20th Feb 2011 at 6:00: Pm at N.S.T his short funeral service was organised by Sumi Aphuyemi Baptist Church Kohima. The following person certifies him in his short funeral service Rev. Zuhokhu Pastor SBCK, Rev. Yevito E.S SBAK Nito Mount, Pukhato Shohe, Inavi Swu SABAK Council Chairman, Tohovi Pastor Dimapur. The funeral service was chaired by Rev. Vitoshe Wotsa Sr. Pastor SABCK; hundreds of people from different community came and pray for the buried family and the departed soul to rest in peace.
