Kohima, June 4 (MExN): The Naga Hoho, while congratulating Narendra Modi on his re-election as the Prime Minister of India, today appealed for “solving Indo-Naga political imbroglio without further procrastination.”
“As we seek to enhance the existing peace process, we also earnestly appeal to have enriching people-people collaboration under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi towards solving Indo-Naga political imbroglio without further procrastination,” stated Naga Hoho in a press release.
“As committed by BJP ever since Late AB Vajpayee’s regime for bringing Indo-Naga political settlement, the Naga problem must, in the long run, be solved by BJP themselves,” it said..
Stating that over the past five years in particular, a warm and cordial relation was built on the “foundation of Framework Agreement in the spirit of co-operation for mutual benefits for both the Nagas and India,” the Hoho said that “the increased understanding and sincerity between our people will further foster the trust and cement the ties between the two entities.”
