Tuensang, January 5 (MExN): The 54th general conference of the Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) will be held from January 7 to 10, 2020 under the theme, “Transcendence with an inquisitive mind”.
About 5000 delegates from the entire Yimchungrü villages and towns are expected to attend the four-day conclave hosted by the Sotokur village, Tuensang District, stated a press release issued by Thsankiu, Press & Information Secretary, YAA.
Advisor, DUDA N Bongkhao Konyak, Addl. Director (Agriculture) C Peter Yanthan, and Advisor Prisons, Printing & Stationary H. Haiying, will grace the general conference as inaugural, cultural and valedictory special guest respectively.
Dr Preetpal Kaur, IPS SDPO Tuensang and BDO Chessore Nokton Konyak will be the guest speaker and special guest for the literary cum felicitation session and workshop respectively. Emporium Skills Training Institute under Ministry of Skills Development & Entrepreneurship will be the resource person for the workshop.
YAA also informed those students who have secured top position in HSLC, HSSLC, Degree/University exam and who have distinguished achievement in the field of games and sports, music and art or any curricular activities who have excelled or represented in the state or National level during the year 2018-19 are requested to submit their admit card, mark sheet, award certificate etc to the YAA Education & Statistical secretary.
YAA has also extended invitation to entire YTC, YWO, YBBA, YGOA, YGBU, WYH, PFPS, STPF, CAPF and former YAA officials. All the village VCCs VDB secretaries and SMC chairman are asked to attend the session positively.
