St. Antony’s School wins ANSPA Quiz Competition

Kohima, October 22 (MExN): All Nagaland Private Schools’ Association (ANPSA) organized the state level quiz competition at NBCC Platinum Jubilee hall on October 22. Eight schools from different district units participated in the grand finale.
St. Antony’s School, Thenyipe won the title of the State Champion 2019 followed by Olympic School, Zunheboto and Perennial School, Wokha took away the second and third prizes respectively. ANPSA, President Nini Sekhose gave away the cash prizes and the certificates to the winners and the participants.
At the inaugural function, PJ Nathan, Principal, Mount Sinai Hr Sec School Kohima exalted the students and the participating schools that this event is not only for finding out the winner, it is also to unite all the schools of Nagaland and to enrich our students to prepare the future platform for working together.
Earlier, in the month of September, ANPSA had organised district level quiz competition and every district unit selected two schools each to the state level competitions. The Vineyard School and St. Mary’s Cathedral Hr Sec Schools represented Kohima unit. St. Antony’s School, Thenyipe and Little Flower School Dimapur represented Dimapur unit, the Wokha unit was represented by Perennial Montessori School and Fernbrook while Zunheboto unit with Olympic and Step by Step School.
Quiz Master, Ajit John, headmaster of St. John’s School encouraged the students by conducting the finale with his mastery over the General Knowledge quiz.
