‘State govt, Nagaland police will be held responsible for any eventuality’

DIMAPUR, JULY 20 (MExN): The NSCN/GPRN Khaplang has stated that in the light of the latest tension and disturbance of the “hitherto peaceful co-existence in Zunheboto since FNRs COR”, the blame would squarely be held on the State Government and DGP Nagaland Police of any eventuality, unless they “escort back Khehoi gang to Khehoi”. “Despite obvious perception of threat and possibility of conflict, the State Government led by DAN government and DGP impudently brought and deployed Khehoi gang to Zunheboto repeatedly during the first week of June and on 7th July 2011, on the pretext of Kitovi being an invited guest on Sumi Tuluni celebration in Zunheboto”, informed a press note issued by the MIP.
The press note has also asked the Sumi frontal organizations to “expedite the eviction of Khehoi gangs taking refuge in Kitovis residence at Amiphoto, Zunheboto”, pointing out the “two NSCNs being a party to COR, upholds the peace agreement and maintains status quo” and whereas “Khehoi gang being as nascent as few weeks old of its emergence as compelled by their hunger for short-cut settlement purely on the terms dictated by India”.
Claiming that “these elements without political ideologies, principles or issues, and with no credible agendas, no history, no basis of existence and even unworthy of calling them as association” but “a mere gathering of mercenaries with looted guns and stolen name of NSCN/GPRN camping inside one designated camp of NSCN at Khehoi”, could not under any circumstance be “entertained as formal organization or credited to be in possession of any political or social conscience of the Nagas in any manner”. “They are undoubtedly political and social pariahs being propped up by India to further disintegrate and decommission the NSCN and Naga peoples on going struggle for self determination”, the MIP note alleged.
The Sumi people have been asked to be wary of those “lions in sheeps skin and speaking peace without past or future” and pointing out that the “decades of sacrifices of Sumi generation cannot be wasted or nullified simply to nourish few Sumi political nomads in search of treasures and wealth in this repute of Sumis commendable contributions to Nagas struggle”. “We also urge the Sumi elders, intellectuals, political leaders, Hoho leaders, Youth and Students and every conscience Sumis not to allow the Sumi youngsters at Khehoi commit themselves to the grave impending act of sedition and disgrace”, the MIP note stated.
“Also avoid any resist unnecessary burden of illegal taxation, extortion etc. The Khehoi gangsters are mostly millionaires and high profiled businessmen running various legal as well as illegal trading and commercial syndicates, supplies, contracts and every conceivable income or profitable business outlets, hardly any means or ways to absorb the Naga youths are completely swallowed by these greedy thugs who during daytime hang around every streets, corners and shades of Dimapur town, while at night return to its bungalows, hotel rooms and Khehoi camp. Recall back your sons and daughters from Khehoi camp and shun these criminals from your daily lives”, the MIP note stated at length.
The NSCN Khaplang has once again asked the Sumis, particularly the citizens of Zunheboto, to drive out from its vicinity, these “peace-speaking thugs and not to partake in anything relating to Khehoi gang or else GPRN/NSCN, Peoples Army shall be obliged to stretch its muscles to expel the Khehoi gangsters by itself”.
