Dimapur, July 14 (MExN): The Nagaland Women Commission and Department of Women Development Nagaland is organizing a one-day State level seminar on “Atrocities against Women” with special emphasis on “Constitutional Rights of Women, Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, Role of Police in Safeguarding Women’s Right and Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act”. A press note issued by N.Hushili Sema, secretary NWC stated that the Governor of Nagaland has consented to be the chief guest and Additional Chief Secretary & Commissioner Banuo Z.Jamir will grace the programme as guest of honour to be held on July 29, 2011 at The Heritage (Old DC Bungalow) from 8:30 am onwards.
