KOHIMA, JUNE 28 (DIPR): In a tragic lightning incident, a class 9 (nine) Student, Hamchai Phom son of Wanaü Phom of Pongo village under Longleng district was killed on 26th June 2011 when he was playing football with his friends. The incident occurred when the deceased and some student of Jawahar Nehru Vidyalaya Tangtta village under Longleng district were playing football after the Sunday service, the lightning struck him by tearing his T. Shirt and made him unconscious. Immediately, the Jawahar Nehru Vidyalaya School Authority rushed him to District Hospital Longleng but on the midway the boy could not make it and passed away.
