Christian leaders from ‘tea tribes’ community attends leadership training
 

 

Dimapur February 9 (MExN): The 2nd phase of the holistic leadership development programme for the leaders of the “Tea Tribes” churches in the borders of Nagaland and Assam was jointly organised by Assam Valley Baptist Mission (AVBM) and Northeast Alliance for Leadership Education and Social Transformation (NEALEAST) at Youth Oasis Centre (YoC) in Iralibill, Dimapur from February 7 to 9. 


The 65 member Christian leaders from the “tea tribes” community comprised of 27 females and 38 male Church leaders under the theme “Tea Tribes for Holistic Transformation in North East India.”


The resource persons were Rev Dr Rabi Pame, Rev Dr Toshi Langu and Rev Dr Takatemjen. A total of 18 lectures on Christian Leadership were delivered during the training. On February 9, the trainees visited and participated at the Dimapur Ao Baptist Church (DABA).


During the valedictory service, completion certificates were awarded to all the participants.
