Kohima, September 21 (MExN): The North East NCC Summit was held at NCC Directorate NE Region, Shillong, Meghalaya on September 20. During the summit, Capt Regina Razousinuo, ANO of St Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama was adjudged the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) in entire North East Region for the year 2022-23. Lt Rokovinuo, ANO of Don Bosco College, Kohima, affiliated to 1 Nagaland Girls' Battalion NCC, Kohima was awarded the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) for the state of Nagaland.
Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) representing the North Eastern states under NER NCC Directorate, were felicitated by Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Meghalaya. Altogether 16 teachers were awarded for their utmost sincerity, professionalism and exemplary service in NCC for the year 2022-23.
Lt Gen Sanjay Mallik, GOC, 101 Area, Shillong, Maj Gen Gagan Deep, ADG, NCC Dte NER, Group Commanders of all NCC Groups of NCC Directorate, NER were present on the occasion.
