Teachers of MGM institutes help families of needy students

Food packets being distributed to families of needy students by teachers of MGM College and MGM Higher Secondary School in Dimapur on May 11.

DIMAPUR, MAY 12 (MExN): Teachers of MGM College MGM Higher Secondary School have contributed one day’s salary to help the families of five needy students who are in need of assistance due to the COVID-19 lockdown.

A press release from the St Thomas Mission Society, the parent society of MGM Institutions, informed that under the leadership of Rev Fr Dr PS Varghese and Rev Fr Gemcy Eappen, food items were packed and distributed at different locations.

KC Varghese, KC Mathew, KC Thomas, Binu Babu, Anoop, Nimmi, Ritusha, Jis  George, Bachman, Arpita, Rosy and Rajesh took the effort to distribute food kits at different locations on May 11.

So far St Thomas Mission Society has distributed 250 food kits to the needy people. Fr Dr PS Varghese appreciated the well wishers and friends of the mission society, teachers of MGM institutions, and all those who contributed for this noble close.
