Tetso alumni forms ‘Tetso Alumni Network’
Alumni of Tetso College after the Alumni Meet held at the College Auditorium on January 18.
Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): Tetso College organized an Alumni Meet on January 18 in the College Auditorium wherein the decision to create an alumni network was implemented.
The meet was convened for all the alumni ahead of its 25th anniversary celebrations on March 7 and was attended by 23 former students.
The programme was chaired by Soreithing Ramror of BA 6th Semester while the welcome note was delivered by Tetso College Director, Kvulo Lorin.
In his speech, Lorin highlighted the need to form an alumni organization which would not only facilitate in establishing relationships among individuals but also create a positive impact in the society locally and globally.
Albert A Sangtam, an entrepreneur and alumnus of 2017-18 also shared experiences of his life after graduating college while Amenla Jamir, Co-ordinator of the Alumni Committee, presented her report.
Meanwhile, during the discussion hour, the unanimous decision to form an alumni association by the name ‘Tetso Alumni Network’ was agreed upon by the members present.
Accordingly, the office bearers representing the association were also elected, which will be led by Imdong Shingba Anar (Batch of 2006) as President, Albert A Sangtam (Batch of 2018) as Vice-President, Mhalevonuo Kera (Batch of 2014) as General Secretary, Mhashevil Ltu (Batch of 2015) as Assistant General Secretary, and Tekhezo-u Doulo (Batch of 2018) as Finance Secretary.
