Dimapur, November 30 (MExN): Tetso College’s Department of Commerce and Management organised the 3rd Edition of CoMFIESTA 2018 on November 30 with participation from Unity College, Delhi Public School, Dimapur Government College, S.D. Jain Girl’s College, Agape Higher Secondary School and Mount Mary College.
The Inter-Institute Fest was based on the tagline “Where Talent Meets.” It saw a variety of performers and participants coming together to compete in events such as Choral competition, Dramatisement, CoMfiesta’s Got Talent, I Can Speak, Mobile Legends and Contrakeenos, stated a press release.
Ria Jain, BCom 2nd Sem chaired the inaugural programme, invocation by Thanshemla Vashum, BCom 6th Sem. Welcome Song was presented by Chubamenla, BA 4th Sem. Amar Ranjan Dey, HOD Commerce and Management welcomed the participants and sponsors of the event - Synergy Systems, Hillstar, Airtel, M/s A.V. Agencies, Helpline Tour and Travels, Neel Kamal, Big Bazaar, Bangkok Cafe, Acer Point and Cleft Music Academy.
Key Note address was delivered by Kvulo Lorin, Director, Tetso College who highlighted on the alarmingly low numbers of students opting for commerce stream. Lorin emphasized on the need to address this issue by spreading more awareness. Vote of thanks was delivered by Rajesh Tanti, Asst. HOD of Management and Economics, while Inapu Aye, of BA 6th Sem and President of EU pronounced the benediction.
