DIMAPUR, MARCH 15 (MExN): The Tetso Motorcycle Club (TMC) organized its second Adventure Ride to Dzuleke, Kohima under the leadership of Abeni Kikon and Kimiyeka Yepthomi on March 14 and 15. The ride saw the participation of 15 students.
President of the club, Kimiyeka Yepthomi said that the main objective of the ride was to train members of Tetso Motorcycle Club in camping, basic jungle survival techniques, route identification, tent pitching, jungle cooking etc.
Abeni Kikon, Vice-President of TMC felt that the adventure events not only help in developing character and boosting the confidence of the participants, but also develops love and respect for nature. "It is at the end a philosophical exercise, a kind of stoic boot camp and a spiritual experience which reintroduces us to our true nature to prepare us to face the challenges of life,” she stated.
