The 65th general session of the Thenyizumi Students' Union was held today at GMS Thenyizu under the theme "Quality Education".


Er. Mhaseto Nakro, Principal, Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu who was the guest speaker pointed that teachers are the backbone for the students to excel in their academic performance while parents and the community play par important role in shaping their career.


“Teachers are the key for students get their requisite lesson,” he opined, further calling the teachers to provide every guidance and also give special attention to the weaker students.


Elaborating on the conference’s theme, Nakro said, “Quality education depends on the teachers on what they teach and how they mould the students to excel in their career. Quality education provides all learners the knowledge required for them.“


"Give children what they need and not what they require" the speaker told the parents while also mentioning that Community involvement in the school facelifts and facilitates students’ learning.


He cautioned students to make best use of electronic gadgets and work hard stating “struggle and effort will bring success in the future.”


He further reminded them to respect their elders and take advice and guidance from them.


Zhothiyi Dawhuo Thenyizumi VCC conveyed greetings and impressed upon the students to be more dedicated in their work.


Medozo Dawhuo delivered the presidential address and Women Society Thenyizumi presented cultural items.
