Dimapur, September 2 (MExN): The row to separate Thilixu New/Inatoku from the control of main Thilixu village and to establish a separate village has been settled after both the parties compromised in a meeting.
In a press note issued by Z Inaho Yeptho and Tokishe Achumi, GBs of Thilixu village stated: “However, for the interest of the whole village we had a meeting with the head GB of Thilixu village and village council and with mutual understanding the case was compromised between the two parties on March 27, 2009 and subsequently case Nos. C.S. No. 17/05 and C.R. No.32/05 was withdrawn from the high court.”
The note added that a case was filed in the High Court to breakaway the Thilixu New/Inatoku from the main Thilixu village. “As the court case proceeded we prepared all the papers/documents under the name of Thilixu New/Inatoku for a separate village,” it stated
Moreover, it also mentioned that “any papers/documents under the name of Thilixu New/Inatoku are invalid and usage of above mentioned documents are illegal”. Therefore, it has informed to all concerned not to use “any papers/documents under above mentioned name for what so ever purpose”.
