Three days institutional quarantine for asymptomatic Green & Orange Zone returnees

DIMAPUR, MAY 12 (MExN): The Nagaland Government today decided that asymptomatic returnees to the State from Green and Orange Zones will be sent for 3 days institutional quarantine. After which they will proceed for 12 days of home quarantine, following documentation and mandatory download of mobile app.

 

Meanwhile, persons from Red Zones or crossing Red Zone will be screened at designated Screening Facility at either Dimapur or Kohima and will undergo 14 days of institutional quarantine.

 

All symptomatic returnees will be isolated and tested.

 

The designated point of entries for all people to enter the State by rail and air will only be Dimapur. The point of entry by road will be through Dillai & Newfield checkgates at Dimapur and Kuzhama check gate at Kohima.

 

This was stated in the minutes of the meeting between the Principal Secretary, Health & Family Welfare; Principal Secretary, Home; Addl. DG; Principal Secretary, Power & 1T&C; Commissioner & Secretary, P&AR; and other officials.
