Dimapur, July 19 (MExN): With the patient from Eden Medical Center, Dimapur, testing positive on Sunday, Dimapur Deputy Commissioner has ordered the sealing of Shamrock Hospital and partial sealing of Nikos Hospital and Eden Medical Hospital.
The patient’s residence and nearby buildings in Ward-18, Zeliangrong Colony (Dhobinalla) have also been sealed with immediate effect.
In the case of Nikos Hospital, Dimapur, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and emergency ward has been temporary sealed as per the DC’s order.
The ICU block at Eden Medical Hospital has also been sealed until further orders.
SBI Bazar Branch, staff quarter sealed
Meanwhile, the State Bank of India, Bazar Branch in Dhobinalla and the SBI staff quarter, Block-C at Bank Colony, Dimapur has also been sealed after an employee who was recently transferred from Dimapur tested positive in Guwahati on July 17.
Issuing the sealing orders on Sunday, the DC cautioned that any persons violating these containment measures will be liable to be proceeded as per the provisions of Section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005 besides legal action under section 188 of the India Penal Code.
