Kohima, December 27 (MExN): MLA Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu today graced the 47th general session Thürütsüswumi Students Union (TSU), held under the theme "Trending education with culture.”
Addressing the inaugural session as the special guest, Azo said that Nagas are known for hard work and honesty, adding “if we work hard we will surely become successful and thereby become an asset to our society and not a liability.”
“Let us use God given knowledge in best services of humanity and not for evil designs or purposes,” he said.
Azo added that knowledge without a purpose can become a very dangerous tool for the society.
He said the purpose of one’s knowledge should be to serve the people in the right manner in order to deliver goods and justice.
Earlier, Thürütsüswumi village council chairman Thüyesasho Swuro shared greetings while TSU president Vekiitho Swuro delivered presidential address.
Debate and poetry recitation also marked the session.
The session will continue till December 28 with Vejoyi Swüro, Head DB Sekruzu town as cultural guest.
