Participants with the special guest during the first annual general conference of the Totikivi CLF.
Zunheboto, November 14 (MExN): The Totikivi Cluster Level Federation (CLF) under Ghathashi Block observed its first annual general conference with the motto ‘Azu-u hawoni (marching forward)’ at Pughoboto Town hall with Hokhuli Sukhato Sema as special guest for the occasion.
The special guest encouraged all women in the society to be a part of the schemes provided by the government like and make use of the platform to upgrade their skills and knowledge.
She also urged the women to know their value and worth and to never stop working hard for the outcome. She encouraged them to promote more local products and finished organic products which can be a good source of income for their livelihood.
Dr Kanitoli Chishi BPM Ghathashi block briefly spoke on the achievements of NRLM at Ghathashi block. Annual report of the federation was delivered by Yevili Y sheqi General Secretary Totikivi CLF. Special number and cultural song was presented by Nito H Sheqi and Yevuqai VLO respectively.
The best Village Level Organization (VLO) was also awarded on the basis of their annual report presentation where Ghoki Toti Kivipu VLO from Ghokimi Village bagged the 1st prize followed by Ikowo VLO from Pughoboto in 2nd place.
The programme was chaired by Kanili wotsa Vice President Totikivi CLF, invocation was pronounced by Katoli Swu Women Pastor PTBC, welcome note was delivered by Yekali Shohe President of Totikivi CLF and vote of thanks was delivered by Shetoli Sheqi Joint Secretary, Totikivi CLF. Exhibition stall for organic products were set up by Eight (8) VLOs under the federation. The programme was attended by vice chairman adhoc town council, host of dignitaries and 325 womenfolk.
