Triple Oscar winner Vittorio Storaro to get IFFI Lifetime Achievement Award

Triple Oscar winner Italian cinematographer Vittorio Storaro will be honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award at the 51st edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The festival will be held in Goa from January 16 to 24, in hybrid format this year due to the pandemic. "This year at #IFFI51, Mr. Vittorio Storaro, Italian cinematographer will be honoured with the prestigious lifetime Achievement Award. He has received three Academy Awards for Best Cinematography. He is one of three living persons who has won the award three times," read a tweet posted on the festival's handle on Friday. Storaro is known for his work in films like "Apocalypse Now" (1979), "Last Tango In Paris" (1972), "The Bird With The Crystal Plumage"(1970), and "The Conformist" (1970). The festival will also honour late actors Irrfan Khan, Sushant Singh Rajput, Rishi Kapoor and Chadwick Boseman.

"The 51st Edition of IFFI is all set to pay homage to Eminent Film Personalities.
