TSU general session elects new team

Kohima, December 28 (MExN): The 66th general session of Thenyizumi Students Union at GMS Campus Thenyizu village under Phek district on December 28. 

A new team of TSU was also elected with Veduto Theyo as the president and Khrunuto Kezo as Vice-president along with other executives for the tenure 2020.

A release from the union stated former NPSC Chairman, Kehupoyo Puro graced the occasion as the special guest. In his address, Puro viewed that Naga society has too many leaders which has become a problem for the progression of the society, while suggested the lack of competitive spirit was because of the outnumbered activities irrespective of social and religious events.

He called upon the gathering to safeguard the rich tradition and culture value since “The rich cultural values are the treasures inherited by the forefathers.”

 Earlier, the presidential address was delivered by Er Sekhozo Thisa, greetings was shared by the VCC, Thenyizumi, Zhothiyi Dawhuo, Education and statistical report by John Swiho.

 In the evening session, Keneinuo Swuro, Advocate Phek Bar Association was the session speaker.
