Tuensang, January 18 (MExN): The District Task Force (DTF) for Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) conducted a meeting at DC Conference Hall, Tuensang on January 18. The meet dwelt on the awareness and implementation of the forthcoming immunization starting from January 19 to 21. The meeting was chaired by Kumar Ramnikant, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman DTFI. The main objective of IPPI is to cover the children of 0-5 years for polio vaccine immunization and specially those who are Left Out, Dropped Out and Resistant Group (LODOR). Dr Thungchanpeni Patton, DPO (RCH/UIP) highlighted on the IPPI programme, its target and implementation with statistics. The forthcoming programme will be covering immunization booth on the first day and the second and third day will be door to door mission for the LODOR section of the children. She also highlighted on the IMI2.0 (Intensified Mission Indradanush) in the meeting.
