The first men’s salon in Mokokchung ‘Twisted Scissors,’ was formally launched on June 1 at Arkong ward, Mokokchung. The salon is situated at Nemcha Complex, Arkong ward.
The salon provides a host of services which includes hair cutting and colouring, pedicure and manicure, facial and skin care and also full body massage, which is also a first of its kind in Mokokchung. The salon has experienced and trained professionals. The salon also uses all UV sterilised tools.
Proprietor, Adang Jamir during a brief talk with The Morung Express said that all his workers are trained and unlike the barber shops in town, all his employees are Nagas.
He also said that his main reason for opening the salon was to promote local youth and their skills and give them an opportunity to showcase their skills and also earn at the same time.
Pastor, Mokokchung Compound Baptist Church, Lanuwati, offered a short prayer for the salon at the launch. Twisted scissors offers quality salon services at exciting rates and is open from Monday to Saturday.
