Two day Orange Festival underway at Rüsoma
Visitors to the Orange Festival buying oranges at the Orange Festival at Rüsoma which began on January 10.
Rüsoma, January 10 (MExN): The two day Orange Festival organized by Bostimanu Entertainment kick started here today at Rüsoma village drawing people from all walks of life including families.
While many visitors were thronging the festival to buy the juicy oranges priced at only Rs. 80 per kilogram, children were seen enjoying the bouncy castles. There were visitors who decided to spend the day picking oranges fresh from the trees as they took a tour to the orange orchards nearby. People were also seen savouring fresh orange juice at the venue. In the meantime, live performance by musicians was another highlight of the festival.
Earlier, to begin the first ever Orange Festival, Thejakielie Zuyie of Bostimanu Entertainment gave a brief introduction and Rev. Shürhosielie Mephfüo, Pastor of Grace Assembly of God Church said the invocation.
The second day of the Festival will have competitions for the Biggest Orange and the Sweetest Orange.
