Kohima, June 26 (MExN): The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has issued a notification for awareness on usage of Energized Textbooks for all SCERT schools in Nagaland.
SCERT, Director, Thejakhrielie Sekhose informed that SCERT schools textbooks for Classes 5, 6, 7, 8 are mostly Energized Textbooks (ETBs), through the insertion of QR codes placed at chapter levels as well as at difficult concept locations.
There are video, audio content relating to explanation and exercises based on the topic placed in these QR codes. These contents will help to enrich learning for the students, teachers and parents especially when there is the requisite need for self-study habits to be inculcated at this present point of time.
These contents can be accessed in two ways:
1. Using Textbooks:
• By downloading the apps for Classes 5 & 6 for which instructions are printed in the textbooks.
2. Through SCERT Nagaland landing page (www.diksha.gov.in/n1/)
• Once you get to the landing page, click on the right hand corner on the icon, if you are using a mobile phone.
• Choose the “Explore DIKSHA-NAGALAND”, option. This will directly take you to the virtual Energized textbooks.
• Click on the desired textbook, class wise and access the contents as per the subject listed.
The Department has encouraged students, teachers and parents to use this medium to enrich the teaching - learning process for achieving better learning outcomes.
