Pungro, December 20 (MExN): The 4th Kholar festival under the theme ‘celebrating our unity’ organised by District Administration and NGOs of Pungro sub-division in collaboration with DUDA, NEIDA and Governmental departments was held at Pungro Public Ground on December 19.
Abhinav Shivam IAS, ADC Pungro was the special guest on the occasion, informed a DIPR report. Speaking on the occasion, the special guest stressed on the nutritional value of Kholar and called upon the farmers and villagers to make agriculture a priority and also to collaborate for marketing of the products.
Folk song competition, Kholar eating competition, top spinning, khuyie and arrow shooting competition were the other highlights of the day. The special guest also inaugurated the 45 exhibition stalls put up from neighbouring villages.
