Dimapur, November 24 (MExN): Following the assassination bid on the life of Goa Governor SC Jamir near its village, the Changki Village Council held an emergency meeting today and took a serious view over the incident which it termed was “carried out by people who are trying to tarnish the image of Changki village.” The Changki Village Council also decided during its meeting, to trace the culprit till they are found and further appealed to all citizens to assist the investigation agencies to apprehend the culprit in the shortest possible time and award befitting punishment. The council also condemned the senseless and dastardly act and thanked “God for preserving the life of our leader”.
