Meluri, February 4 (MExN): Department of Rural Development, Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, Meluri Block in collaboration with administrative department launched weekly bazaar at Meluri on February 4.
A DIPR report stated that the programme was initiated in order to boost and encourage local farmers of Meluri Sub-division and Pochury society as a whole. Various SHGs have been enthusiastic and efforts were given to produce agro based by-products. Hence, exclusively one day in a week was scheduled for promotion and sale of the products of the SHGs.
Earlier, EAC Lephory, C Tsalimse Sangtam and President Pochury Mother's Association, Sürhothsü delivered a short speech. Secretary BLF, Luozhiesü chaired the program. The inaugural programme was also attended by the public leaders and SHGs Members of Meluri Block.
