WENN Bazaar generates Rs 70 lakh: Empowers 111 women entrepreneurs in Nagaland

Chümoukedima, October 6 (MExN): The fourth edition of the WENN Bazaar concluded on October 4, generating a consolidated revenue of Rs 70 lakh and attracting over 10000 visitors, organisers said.

The three-day event, held at CT Square, Chümoukedima under the theme ‘Creating a Sustainable Networking Space for Women Entrepreneurs,’ brought together 111 women-led enterprises from across Nagaland, according to a release from the Women Entrepreneurs Network Nagaland (WENN).

The bazaar supported over 405 employments and provided a platform for 111 women-led brands, marking a significant milestone in advancing women's economic empowerment in the region, the release stated.

Beyond business, the event featured seven hands-on workshops, on-the-spot registrations for FSSAI and Udyam in partnership with the RAMP project under the Department of Industries and Commerce, a bridal fashion show by Kats Collection, and a flash mob performance by students of St Joseph University.

The event was supported by the Department of Industries and Commerce, Toyota, North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Ltd. (NEDFi), Indian Oil Corporation, and the Department of Women Resource Development, among others.

WENN Bazaar continues to grow as a transformative platform for women entrepreneurs, promoting innovation, visibility, and community-driven progress across Nagaland, the release added.
