•-The recent pictures of havoc created by intense rain in Nagaland cast a doubt on the development works executed in the state. The collapse of bridge at Dhansiripar areas, washing away part of referral hospital by river erosion, the emerging ponds on the main roads at Dimapur. Who is to be blamed, is it the department concern or the contractors who have executed the work or is it despite the best efforts by all, nature have played jokes on us. It’s high time, someone takes responsible for it. Our state is the only state where the Government servants and ministers etc enjoys the best facilities and looking at their wealth, one can easily assume, it is not earned but obtained by corrupt means. We have palatial houses with best facilities, luxury cars, yet our public amenities are only at par with the slum areas in the cities. It’s high time they are made answerable. If Central Cabinet ministers, M.P's etc can be sent behind bar for corruption, why not our so call leaders and public servants .
