Where will Change come from?

In Nagaland, everybody wants change and everybody talks about change but nobody wants to change himself or herself which is an extreme level of Hypocrisy. How can you expect change or bring about changes when you are not ready to make sacrifices and practice what you preach? Where do you expect Change to come…

When people wearing expensive branded clothes, suited and booted refuse to pay Rs 100/month Sanitation fees?

When you are not ready to sacrifice even 6 inches of your plot for road expansion?

When rich people, Govt. Servant and literate people refuse to install smart meter box because you cannot tamper the meter to pay less bill?

When you don't want to pay a penny of tax but expect all the Govt. Benefits to reach your footsteps?

When earnings through corrupt means become a blessing from Almighty God with the justification that you are a Christian and pray every day?

When rich people and Government Servant fight for PHH and AAY rice as their birthright?

When selling your valuable vote during an election becomes a lucrative business?

When the elected representative consider all the development funds as their pocket money?

When contractors and businessmen expect 70% margin in all the works executed by them?

When all the Govt. Employees of the State want to be posted in Kohima & Dimapur only?

When the CSO's leaders work for their survival rather than for the survival of their community or Nations?

When the National workers fight for their titles & rampant taxation rather than for the Nation?

When the Church leaders treat the poor and rich differently and preach what people wants to hear and not the hardcore truth?

When Ego becomes bigger than your wealth and knowledge and Might becomes Right?

When every X,Y and Z wants to become a leader and float different kinds of organisations?

When you want all the illegal immigrants to vanish from Nagaland but protect and promote Illegal immigrants for your benefits?

O.M.G… the list is endless and Changes will never come when we live in this mindset but we should first Change ourselves, regardless of whether others Change or not, by making sacrifices, obeying the rules and orders, doing good works to be appreciated by others and creating beautiful things to be admired by one and  all. Real changes will come as and when we truly embrace the Slogan, ' Nagaland For Christ' and become a practical Christian with all our heart with  all our soul  and with all our mind.
