Who don’t want to keep good health?

•-It was an accidental glimpse that captured my eyeballs to the caption “Move…. For good health” and prompted me to go through the Editorial in one prominent News paper on 12th February 2011. The content of the Editorial is most appropriate and more so for the local populace to ponder up on. I personally have seen many cases of cancer patients flying away to Delhi and other Metros for treatment and ultimately ending up totally bankrupt and with bagful of medicines to eat till he or she survives with a permanent look of sadness and rejection.
Though the Editorial  have projected various reasons for the present day precarious condition our Naga brethrens facing, has not put any light in to the avenues available for the people for a healthy living. I propose Yog as an inclusive and scientific option to prevent any disease if practiced consistently. A healthy person while doing Yog creates an immune system which prevents any sort of distortion in the systemic balancing of the body. Whereas a person with disease while doing Yog can enhance the immune system over a period of time and prevent the disease from spreading further and gradually can attain good health while continuing with whatever form of medication he or she is into.
Yog fever is already in the town with proposed visit of Yog guru Swami Ramdevji to Dimapur. Why can’t we Dimapurians go to the ground and see for ourselves what exactly is this Yog means. It is time that we include some forms of regular exercise in to our daily life routine at this period of junk food, over excited life style, undisciplined living, then why can’t it be Yog as it provides exercise of the mind and body at a time and a way to a healthy living….. nothing else…..happy Yog folks.
