Whose Road Is It Anyway

•-The highways and roads are meant for public utility. No single organization or individual has the sole ownership and free passage of ways. Every citizen has equal rights of passage. By virtue of being in a  privileged position does not bestow upon him/her the authority to bulldoze anyone and anything that comes in their way. The same goes for those that accompany them whose duty is to ensure protection against some personal threats, if there be any. This assignment does not include barging an individual’s inability in a situation to make room for their instant passage, not knowing under what circumstances that individual might be in at that given moment. The common people/ citizen plying on the roads are not second class citizens commuting on borrowed roads. It’s a public utility built by the state to usher in developmental progress for the welfare of the people. Such an attitudinal demeanor cannot help but create only resentment amongst the people we stand for and hold dear.
