WHSS organizes parents’ day
Zunheboto, November 2 (MExN): Woodland Higher Secondary School (WHSS) on October 31 organized parent's day programme at the school premises.
The theme was based on how parents (both father and mother) play a major role in shaping and molding their children to be someone great in their life.
The programme began with invocation by Lilo P Chishi and a welcome song was presented by Class 9 students, followed by many different entertaining items such as cultural show, traditional and other dances, speech, action song by lower classes etc from different classes.
Deborah Sukhalu thanked all the parents for attending the special programme organized by their children for them.
She also asked the parents to show good examples to their children and show them good as they would follow their footsteps. Two dramas were presented on social issues and parents. Drama on social was presented by Class 9 and 10 students showcasing the social issues that are faced in the society and how the society is getting destroyed. The purpose of the drama was to show how one should be able to overcome all these problems.
The other was presented by class 12 students and was based on how parents should treat their children and teach them the good things in life which will help them to become wise and better students in life. The students, teachers and NCC Cadets played a major role in organizing the programme.
The programme ended with benediction by Tokato K Zhimo which was chaired by Tia, Assistant Teacher, WHSS.
