Local committees constituted to ensure smooth functioning while receiving stranded citizens
Wokha, May 12 (MExN): Wokha District Task Force held an emergency meeting to discuss the arrival of the stranded citizens from outside Nagaland and other issues related to COVID-19 at the DC’s conference hall, Wokha on May 12.
According to a DIPR report, the district is expecting arrival of 622 persons from 26 states across the country.
During the meeting, chaired by Deputy Commissioner and chairman COVID-19 Wokha, Orenthung Lotha, local committees was constituted in order to ensure smooth functioning while receiving the stranded citizens. The following local committees were constituted:
TRANSPORTATION

MESS
Convener: Imtinungla, EAC (9089386346)
Members: Renbeni, Sr Supervisor CDPO, Office; All members of Nehru Yuva Kendra and IRCS volunteers; and all executive members of Lotha Eloe Hoho.
ELECTRIFICATION

QUARANTINE CENTER MANAGEMENT
Institutional quarantine center for men (GHSS and all private hotels)

Institutional quarantine center for women (Mt. Tiyi College, GA Rest and Tourist Resort)

On health care system, the CMO was instructed to come up with local Standard Operation Procedure and to constitute sub- committee for health workers and formation of receiving party.
Later, the committee visited the quarantine centres at GHSS and Mt. Tiyi College to oversee the preparedness for the returnee.
