Wokha, December 20 (MExN): The annual get-together cum joint meeting of Wokha and Longsa Village councils was conducted on December 19 in Wokha village to strengthen the age old relationship.
In the meeting, various issues were discussed at length where both the village councils resolved to give surprise visit to District headquarters hospital, Wokha on various complaints received related to absences of medical staffs.
The councils also informed, for the interest and welfare of the citizens in the district to all medical staff to remain sincere to their assigned duties. Stating that the councils will keep visiting the hospital to check on various issues, and if found guilty, the two councils resolved to take its own course of action.
Short messages were delivered from both the Village Council Chairmen, Zayio Ezung (LVCC) and S Yanphamo Tungoe (WVCC).
The meeting was chaired by Zuchanbemo Kithan, council secretary Wokha village. O Thungben Kikon, Pastor, Wokha Village Baptist Church invoked God’s blessings upon the councils.
