Wokha panel reviews My Bharat youth registration drive

Wokha, August 20 (MExN): A District Advisory Committee meeting on My Bharat Youth registration was held in Wokha under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner K Mhathung Tsanglao on August 20.

As per the State DIPR, Tsanglao stressed the need for proper coordination among line departments for effective implementation of activities under the programme. 

He highlighted the pivotal role of youth in nation-building, describing them as pillars capable of taking the country to greater heights.

District Youth Officer, Wokha, Pradeep J, made a presentation on the institutional hierarchy of Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat), its implementation arms, and the functions of the District Advisory Committee and District Samanvay Committee.

It covered the core roles of My Bharat, including constructive engagement, youth-led dissemination and youth-led decision-making. It also demonstrated the features of the My Bharat portal, including the registration process and opportunities, programmes and benefits available to registered youth.

My Bharat, the official youth engagement platform of the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, aims to build a nationwide community of young change-makers by providing avenues to explore opportunities, participate in events, volunteer and grow as part of a collective movement, the State DIPR added.
