•-I am glad that Asangba has responded to my article because I encourage and challenge the youths to freely express their opinions sharing opinions with one another. I wish that he could discuss the substance of my writing with me throwing light on it whether agree or disagree. He must cool headedly understand that my statement is never against their move for separate statehood. It is not my concern. Sooner or later, different administrative arrangements will come up. When I said, “Nobody will object to them. My personal opinion is that they should be supported to fulfill their aspiration.” The youth said that I am meddling with the demand for statehood.
The Nagas are proud of one another and are never under the bondage of one another. As mentioned in my article, the Naga people in the State are equally represented according to the proportion of the population. The Naga people in the State had voted four of ENPO leaders to power as Lok Sabha M.Ps. There may be administrative irregularities but politically there is equality. So candidly speaking, I object to using the language, “Bondage” among the Nagas. Secondly, I object to the disassociation of ENPO from the apex ethnic bodies such as Naga Hoho, NMA, NSF and the like. In spite of different administrative arrangements whatsoever, there should be unity in the public apex bodies through which alone better understanding and closer relationship is created. I am for justice and not for or against anybody. So whether you like it or not, it is my sincere view.
