Kiphire, November 21 (MExN): In view of the 53rd General Conference of the Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA) and Mimi Students’ Union Golden Jubilee in January 2019, the YAA will be carrying out Pungro-Mimi via Salomi Road maintenance in collaboration with the village councils of those villages traversing the aforementioned road.
In a press release issued by YAA President and General Secretary, lying of heavy vehicles shall be restricted during the maintenance period in the entire stretch w.e.f. December 1 till the culmination of the conference on January 12, 2019. In this regard, all concerned are requested to bear the inconvenience to ferry their timber, log, boulder, etc and also to clear debris, fire woods etc alongside the road that may obstruct vehicular movement before the commencement of the said work.
Furthermore, YAA has called on all concerned citizens to extend necessary co-operation and support during the maintenance work.
