Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): The Yimchungrü Akherü Arihako (YAA), with reference to the government’s notification made on March 22, served precautionary measures to be followed under its jurisdiction in view of the COVID-19 situation.
1. Any student or people coming home from outside is advised to remain in home quarantine without having close contact with the friends/family members for 14 days w.e.f the day of arrival and are advised to report to respective union office.
2. Outsiders are strictly prohibited from entry within its Yimchungrü Jurisdiction. Public is also advised to avoid travelling from village to village during this critical situation.
3. There will be total ban for both domestic/foreign tourists to entering in its jurisdiction in view of COVID-19 until further notice.
4. No persons/organizations will use any print or electronic or social media for dissemination of any information regarding COVID-19 without asserting the facts and prior clearance from the Department.
5. There will be no movement between 6 pm to 6 am until further notice within its jurisdiction.
6. The YAA while appreciating the incredible service initiated by State Government and District Administration, also appeal to check on the availability of necessary medical aids, essential food grains and necessary awareness with its jurisdiction.
7. Any kind of mass gathering/meeting/picnic is prohibited with the view to prevent/minimize further spread of COVID -19 within its jurisdiction.
8. In this regard, YAA endorsed all its constituent units to monitor and engaged in creating awareness on COVID-19 in its respective jurisdiction.
9. YAA also seek co-operation and support from the general public and stakeholders to kindly adhere with the notice to prevent and control of pandemic Novel Corona Virus (COVID -19).
