Parliamentary secretary for tourism and law & justice Yitachu today released a book on collection of poems entitled “A Bucket of Rain.”
Authored by Vishu Rita Krocha, the book consists of 64 poems divided into 5 sections namely Rain, Nostalgia, Seasons, Random Musings and Dedications.
Speaking on the occasion, Yitachu lauded the author for having the faith to launch a book which he described as a “moral booster”.
He was also hopeful that the message the author has inside the collection of poems will carry to many sections of the society.
The author said that this book is a result of her experience with nature, friendship, love and people she has come across in various circumstances. “If you ask me why “A Bucket of Rain”, then it’s because I’ve always been inspired by the rain, and I wanted something related to this theme”, she said.
The foreword to the book was penned by Easterine Kire and reviewed by two local English dailies Eastern Mirror and The Morung Express.

The function was chaired by Agnes Tepa. Vote of thanks was proposed by Rekha Rose Dukru.
