Zunheboto, November 19 (MExN): The District Health Society, Zunheboto organised a three-day free health camp in Ahuna cum Mini Hornbill festival from November 12 to 14 and one-day free health camp on November 17 organised under the aegis of NSLSA and ZDLSA Mega Legal Service Camp, Zunheboto.
Shekho Sophie, District Media Officer, CMO Office, Zunheboto in a press release stated that health services and medicines were provided free of cost to all the patients. The camp administered to 364 patients. Various ailments including common cough and cold, other diseases prevalent were treated and minor OT was done. Mp, Urine test, HIV testing, Blood grouping, Hb%, RBS and sputum AFB investigation was carried out. A total of 30 Eye cases were screened and 91 lab investigations was carried out. FGD and one to one sessions were carried out on Child Health, Maternal Health and HIV/AIDS. Pamphlets and leaflets were distributed free.
The team of medical personnel was led by Dr. C.W Tungoe, CMO, Dr. Khehokhu Chishi, MS, DH, Dr. Viholi, DTO, RNTCP, Dr. Aron, SMO, DH, Dr. Akaho, Sr. Specialist DH, Dr. Wobemo, Dr. Kihoto, Dr. Obed, Dr. Shikatoli, MO MHT & supporting nurses, Lab. Tech,(NVBDCP, RNTCP, MMU & DAPCU), Yanger, Ophthalmic Assistant, DH & Porenthung, Opthalmic Assistant, Aghunato CHC.
The district team comprised, IEC Bureau along with vertical programme staffs RNTCP, NVBDCP, DAPCU.
