Dimapur, May 6 (MExN): Zion Hospital & Research Centre (ZH&RC), Dimapur has been fully sanitized and is ready for functioning to its full capacity with effect from May 9 (Saturday).
Informing this in a press release, Dr Neithongulie Pienyu, Managing Director, ZH&RC requested the patients to cooperate by observing the basic protocols of washing hands before entering the hospital, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, bringing only one attendant and going through the flu corner screening at the entrance.
Dr Pienyu also informed that doctors, nurses and other health workers exposed to the patient (directly or indirectly) in their line of duty were quarantined by the government, tested negative and released. “Moreover, we want to share the good news that the remaining staffs and doctors of the hospital have all been tested negative,” he added.
Meanwhile, the management of ZH&RC has expressed gratitude to everyone for “prayer, financial, material and moral support to the hospital as we went through a difficult phase resulting from COVID19 outbreak.” They also acknowledged the Team COVID-19 led by the Principal Director H&FW Nagaland, the District Administration, the Police and well wishers who stood by the hospital during the crisis.
