Zunheboto NPWD completes road construction in New Colony

Zunheboto, February 21 (MExN): Under the benefits of Non-Plan, the Zunheboto division of Nagaland Public Work Department (NPWD) successfully completed the road construction from National Highway to New Colony Prayer Chapel.


The half kilometer road serves as the oldest vehicle pliable road which connects New Colony to Zunheboto town. 
Gaonbura of New Colony, Hotoshe Chishi said, “For so many years the citizens of the colony had to bear the brunt of dilapidated road conditions to make their way to the town.” The citizens of New Colony faced lots of troubles due to poor road condition which now has been solved, he added.


While lauding the contractor, MS Aina Vision for the exceptional quality of the work, Chishi stressed on how the whole work came to fruition because of the efforts of Tokugha Sukhalu, IAS Retd, Advisor, School Education, whose commitment in developing Zunheboto town is unwavering and resolute. “Changes are becoming apparent in district headquarter town,” Chishi stated.  


The road construction project which started on January 23 completed on February 16.
