12 new COVID-19 cases in Nagaland 

Dimapur, April 10 (MExN): Nagaland reported 12 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday out of 343 samples that were tested. 

 According to the daily bulletin issued by the health department, 11 of the new cases were reported among ‘traced contacts’—six from Dimapur, Kohima four and one from Mokokchung. The other new case was from a returnee/traveller in Dimapur district. 

 

On the other hand, two patients who previously tested positive for COVID-19 in Kohima have recovered.  With this, the cumulative total of infections in the state stands at 12,400 out of which 157 are active cases. The total number of recoveries in the state is now at 11, 990. 

As per severity of cases, 150 of the active cases are said to be asymptomatic, 4 have mild symptoms and two are ‘severe on oxygen.’ Among the districts, Kohima has the highest number of active cases at 130, Dimapur 26 and Mokokchung has one active case.
